Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you sign up or enroll, we collect your name, email address, and payment information (processed by Stripe — we never store card numbers). During the intake process, we collect professional information you voluntarily provide: your role, industry, goals, current tools, and experience level. This is used exclusively to personalize your curriculum.

We log your class progress and chatbot conversations to power the platform and to let your instructor review your progress. Chatbot conversations are scoped to individual classes and are not shared across students.

How we use it

• Personalizing your curriculum path and chatbot interactions
• Sending transactional emails (enrollment confirmation, access notices)
• Instructor's manual review of your intake and longitudinal project
• Tracking program completion and providing instructor sign-off
• Improving the platform and curriculum

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except for the services required to run the platform (Supabase, Stripe, Anthropic, Mux, Resend).

Third-party services

• Stripe — payment processing
• Supabase — database and authentication
• Anthropic — AI chatbot (your messages are sent to Claude)
• Mux — video streaming
• Resend — transactional email

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. Your AI chatbot messages are processed by Anthropic's API; do not include sensitive personal or confidential business information in chatbot conversations.

Data retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account exists. After your cohort ends, your progress and chatbot history remain accessible to you while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@broomstick.ai.

Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
